BJP's Pradipsinh Vaghela Resigns as Gujarat General Secretary
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pradipsinh Vaghela has resigned as Gujarat general secretary. He was appointed to the post in 2021.
Vaghela, who is also a former MLA, has been critical of the
BJP government in Gujarat on a number of issues, including the COVID-19
pandemic, the farm laws, and the Agnipath scheme.
In his resignation letter, Vaghela said that he is
resigning from the post of Gujarat general secretary because he is "not
happy with the way the BJP government is functioning in Gujarat". He also
said that he is "not happy with the way the BJP is treating its
workers".
Vaghela's resignation is a blow to the BJP, which is facing
a series of challenges in Gujarat. The party is facing a tough fight in the
upcoming Assembly elections, and it is also facing a number of internal
challenges.
Vaghela's resignation is also a sign of the growing
dissatisfaction among BJP workers in Gujarat. A number of BJP workers have been
critical of the BJP government on a number of issues, and they have been
demanding a change in leadership.
